The Great Houdini

The newest member of our family has been delving into a carrer as an escape artist. Our original cage failed to contain him with his kennel inside the cage. So we decided to take the kennel out of his cage, thinking that he was climbing on-top of it to escape. Ok, we have been wrong before. Upgrading and buying a new cage, 3 feet tall with vertical bars we figured that this would contain him finally. Some how he climbed out of that too. Deciding that desperate times call for desperate measures we took the old gate and cliped it to the top of his new cage. That worked for a day or two until he discovered that he could open the clasps and squeze out. Turning the clasps the other way around we have finally found a way to keep the little guy in his cage while we are at work.

Dakota!!! Merry Early Christmas to Me!

I promised some people pictures of the newest addition to the Evans fam so here we go. On our way to Home Depot for an air filter for the furnace there was a bright orange sign "PUPPIES" No Jackie told me. We will just look I said. No, you will buy one if you "just look". So needless to say we were over talking to Winter Rose Ann, no joke, her real name for an hour trying to convince Jackie that a puppy is just what we need. So, an hour later and a little poorer we took our little amigo home. We spent hours just trying to think up a name, Shadow, Neo, Maverick, and so on. But Dakota it is. Oh crap, btw we never got that air filter and Utah winters are cold. So he has been a good puppy, yapping all night, peeing on the in-laws carpet and ours, not too much tho. Fortunately he has only pooped out side, take that Dolly!!! hahahaha. j/k But like all puppies he chews and chews and chews so we have some toys for him. Now I really need to go to class. L8tr

Just for the Halibut!!!

With everyone so far away, CT and DC and such, I decided to start a blog to let everyone else know how cool Jackie and I are. j/k Im just sitting at home getting ready to go to my Mechanical Vectors for Engineers: Statics class. Yay!!! Fun and exciting. I get a test back today so you will all hear about that. I just played w/ the puppy and there will be more about that later. Gotta head to class.
